Celebrity chef and local legend Stephanie Izard brings Girl & The Goat to the West Loop. Offering a well-balanced selection of picks for vegetarians like Kohlrabi Salad and Wood Grilled Broccoli, seafood dishes like Seared Diver Scallops and Escargot Ravioli, and particularly delicious meat choices like Roasted Duck Breast and Grilled Marinated Pork Belly, they do it all.

Au Cheval is a trendy restaurant with long lines past 7:00pm to prove it. But don’t let that turn you off—their stiff cocktails (which you can get while you wait) and tasty gastropub fare makes it well worth it. Their award-winning burger is one of our favorites, especially when topped off with some peppery bacon and a fried egg.

For amazing food and drink, enjoy a meal at the upscale Au Cheval.

We Love Their: General Jane’s Honey-Fried Chicken, Roasted Marrow Bones with Beef Cheek Marmalade

Longman & Eagle is an intimate gastropub that gets things started early in the day with an amazing brunch, and stays open until the wee hours as a fun watering hole. While brunch is our personal favorite, dinner is just as impressive, with a nice selection of both small plates and entrees to choose from. Wash it all down with a shot or two from their extensive whiskey collection, which boasts over 300 varieties!

We Love Their: Chicken and Waffles with Sweet Potato & Pork Belly Hash, Wild Boar Sloppy Joe
