An offshoot of Caesar’s, the Horseshoe Casino has a couple of different food outlets, from sit down restaurant to sandwich takeout. They let you smoke inside, servers walk around with drinks, and they also have some really affordable minimums for the table games.

Located in Gary, Indiana, the birthplace of the late great Michael Jackson, Majestic Star Casino has six gaming floors, a hotel, restaurants, and an entertainment venue.

The Blue Chip Casino has a luxury hotel that’s almost as well known as their gaming options, which are nothing short of extensive. This is on top of their entertainment, which ranges from live music to comedy.

Harrah’s Joliet is located in the Chicago suburbs, and it has every gaming option that you could want on top of a high class hotel, multiple restaurants, and a well-known, respected name in the gambling industry.

Ameristar Casino Hotel
Technically still within the city limits, Ameristar Casino Hotel is also a riverboat and is located in East Chicago on the far south side. This Lake Michigan classic has all the restaurants, drinking spots, and, most importantly, gaming options that you could want. It also has a romantic side to it that’s lovely for a date or a weekend getaway.

Grand Victoria Casino

In Elgin, the Grand Victoria Casino has big shoes to fill with a name as promising as that, and it does its job well. It’s a riverboat casino, so if you like winning money, eating, and drinking on a cruise ship, you’ve hit the jackpot.
