Your Guide to Chicago’s Movies in the Park

If you haven’t been to movies in the park yet this summer, you’re doing something wrong. Whether you’re looking for classic or current movies, taking the family or going with friends, you can’t beat this FREE series where there’s something for everyone.

Millennium Park Summer Film Series

For a state-of-the-art screen and sound system, Millennium Park is where it’s at. You’ll have an incredible view from just about anywhere on the Great Lawn, and this series focuses on the classics everyone should see at least once, from Edward Scissorhands to The Breakfast Club.

Chicago Onscreen Local Film Festival

When you want to watch a movie with a backdrop of Lake Michigan, you don’t want to miss this series. These movies are all set at lakeside venues, so we definitely recommend getting there early so that you can watch the sunset before the feature.
