Chicago is one of the comedy capitals of the world, with tons of famous alumni, like Amy Poehler, Dan Aykroyd, Chris Farley, Steve Carell, and more. You might just see the next SNL star at one of these spots.

Ask anyone that knows what they’re talking about where to see the best sketch comedy and improv in the country outside of SNL, and they’ll say Second City. In fact, famous alumni are known to routinely stop by. Shows every night of the week, some of which are free, mean you can stop by the premier venue for the very best talent in the country whenever the mood strikes you, and they also offer comedy classes and private events.
