Free Workouts in Chicago

Take advantage of the nice weather and join these free workouts that only require you to do your best. They are all focused on improving your health and fitness, and there are options for all levels. Get out there and sweat it out!

Millennium Park Summer Workouts

Every Saturday you can hit the Great Lawn to start off your morning right. First up at 7:00am there’s Tai Chi, then Yoga at 8:00am, Pilates at 9:00am, and Zumba at 10:00am. Each class is 45 minutes, and you’ll have to bring your own mat if you want one. If you’re a real yoga fanatic, you can also come on Wednesdays at 7:30.

Fleet Feet Sports Fun Run Club

These runs go from three to six miles and can sometimes include 100 people! You’ll meet at one of the three Fleet Feet locations in the city Mondays and/or Wednesdays at 6:30pm and Saturdays at 8:00am (only Lincoln Square), where you can get ready and leave your belongings. There are even some fun themed runs around different neighborhoods!

The North Face Mountain Athletics

When you have a focused outdoor goal to achieve, this is the workout for you. Meeting every Tuesday in Millennium Park, and every Thursday at the Lincoln Memorial (both at 6:30pm) you’ll find people with all types of goals, from climbing a 5.15 to biking the lakefront. After an hour, you’ll be ready for any challenge.
