From curly to waffle, sweet potato to loaded, it’s impossible not to like fries. And while it’s pretty tough to screw them up, why settle when you can have the best?
The fries at this spot are incredible just on their own, so when you add the bacon, sour cream, Merkt’s cheddar, and giardinera relish or fresh lobster, you know you’re in for something special. They also have buffalo fries, which somehow stay crunchy even when drenched in spicy sauce and topped with bleu cheese crumbles.
Au Cheval is certainly a trendy restaurant, with long lines past 7:00pm to prove it. But don’t let that turn you off—their stiff cocktails (which you can get while you wait) and rich, crispy fries are well worth it. These fries are topped with a fried egg with Mornay sauce drizzled over the top. They complement the famous burger wonderfully.

There are some locals that come here weekly, and with good reason. With five different varieties of expertly seasoned fries, you really can’t go wrong at DMK. We especially love the sweet potato fries, and the lemon tabasco aioli dipping sauce is to-die-for.
