This bar is one of those places where time flies. The killer drinks here won’t break the bank, and there is a $5 shot and beer special each and every day. Nestled under Pops for Champagne and complete with sofa seating, it’s the perfect spot to kick back and cozy up to a date.

You can find Watershed at 601 N State St.

The Library

The Library looks as if it slipped out of the ’20s and into this decade. Chic, dimly-lit, and intimate, this River North spot is tucked underneath Gilt Bar. The plush red booths are comfy, the cocktails are delectable, and you can’t leave without trying the food. Check out some of the vintage books, but be warned, they’re easy to get lost in.

You can find The Library at 230 W Kinzie St.
