Get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and take in a bit of nature. There are a lot of great spots to enjoy a sunset here, but we love watching from Evening Island. For a different take, visit the Crescent, and the sunset will frame the magnificent fountain, or catch a glimpse from the Japanese Garden.

For a sunset with the Chicago skyline in tow, nothing beats Fullerton Beach. You’ll get the last rays reflecting off of the water as well as the shadowy wood posts that line the waters looming in the distance. Bring a picnic dinner for a night you won’t forget.

We couldn’t leave the the tallest building in the city and the second tallest in America off this list. Along with the sunset, you’ll be able to see Wisconsin, Indiana, and Michigan from this deck on the 103rd floor. It’s a popular tourist spot, so get there about a half hour before the sun sets to secure the best view.
