L’Patron Tacos is a taqueria that lives up to the hype that surrounds it. The food is so good that people are willing to wait upwards of 30 minutes to get their hands on these awesome tacos. The House Specials—Gringo and Gringa—are the highlight of the menu, and they feature their handmade tortillas.

You can find L’Patron at 2815 W Diversey Ave.

Cemitas Puebla is a family-owned establishment with an emphasis on Poblano cuisine. Featured on Food Network’s ‘Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives,’ they are known for cemitas, but the tacos are out-of-this-world. With options like spit-roasted pork and chorizo, you may never try anything else on the menu.

You can find Cemitas Puebla at 817 W Fulton Market.
