There are 726 pubs in Baltimore. Feeling overwhelmed? MostBest knows the Top 3.
When you want excellent grub in a pub filled to the brim with tons of world-class beer, great vibes, and good times.
Mick O’Shea’s isn’t your average neighborhood pub, because walking in instantly transports you to Ireland, with their flag hanging from the ceiling, wood-heavy furnishing, and traditional décor with odes to drinking. If you’re a rugby or football (soccer) fan, there are few better spots to catch a game. It has a huge selection of liquors and beers, both local, national, and international.

ANNABEL LEE TAVERN
Annabel Lee was Edgar Allen Poe’s last poem and he inspires the look and feel of the atmosphere. The upscale environment even made it on the Baltimore Sun’s 15 favorite first date spots. It’s kind of a spooky place—in traditional Poe fashion—but that’s what makes it so unique. Don’t be afraid to try out their food, because it’s above and beyond typical pub fare.
We Love The: Duck Fat Fries, Jumbo Lump Crab Cake
The second you step foot in Mahaffey’s, you’ll know it’s something special. This pub is very European in style, and they take drinking seriously. There’s an incredible beer selection that spans the globe, many of which are exclusive to this establishment. One of our favorite parts about this place is their focus on their regulars, with pictures of good times on the walls and their famous 100 Beers Club.
