Head to Navy Pier for one of Chicago’s longest-running and most well-loved art fairs. With works from over 70 galleries, the fair is home to ceramic, wood, glass, fiber, and metal pieces, and boasts lectures and other interactive events. You can even watch artists face off in a design competition.

Festival of Barrel Aged Beer

If you’re a beer-lover, you can’t miss this one. It’s the largest celebration of wood and barrel-aged beer in the US, and features tons of striking and unusual flavors. You’ll get the chance to taste beer that’s not on the commercial market, and with two days, there’s double the fun.
