Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia

This place has been a favorite of the art community since it opened in 2000. It not only strictly houses contemporary art, but also art from the Georgian art community specifically. They have both permanent and rotating collections.

This may well be the most popular art museum in the state of Georgia, and possibly in that region of the US, and for good reason. The only thing more awe-inspiring than the interior are the pieces of artwork. You can really get lost wandering around, and you’ll somehow still feel like you didn’t see all of it. Don’t worry, becoming a regular is very common.

The industrial, spacious interior makes you feel trendy just by walking inside, and the really unique and interesting pieces bring it up to the highest of notches. Sophistication in art taste is not a requirement, but it’s decently encouraged (by us at least).
