Duke Kahanamoku is considered the godfather of surfing. Think of Babe Ruth and Michael Jordan; that’s what he is to the ancient Hawaiian sport (he’s also a five-time Olympic gold medalist in swimming). The local legend is giving his due ode at Duke’s Canoe Club, which offers exquisite food for every meal of the day, as well as a barefoot beach bar with delicious island cocktails.

Hale ‘aina winner for being an all-around exceptional restaurant, Chef Morimoto’s establishment, from the astounding views to the exquisite dishes, always wows, and the architecture does the incredible view its due justice. Particularly famous for the masterfully prepared sushi, the turf options and salads are excellent as well.
