Duke Kahanamoku is considered the godfather of surfing. Think of Babe Ruth and Michael Jordan; that’s what he is to the ancient Hawaiian sport (he’s also a five-time Olympic gold medalist in swimming). The local legend is giving his due ode at Duke’s Canoe Club, which offers exquisite food for every meal of the day, as well as a barefoot beach bar with delicious island cocktails.
